Great set for a great price..., April 16, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Top Flite XL+ Complete Golf Set (Sports) I bought this set to replace my old clubs which were all purchased second hand. After two rounds, I am completely satisfied with these clubs. All in all the set looks gorgeous. I'm 6' 2" and the length of every club feels just right. I also like the feel of the grips. The very first round I played with these took 3 strokes off of my game (I even birdied the first hole). The hybrids and the irons are very forgiving and easy to hit on any surface. I am also impressed at how easy it is to play with the fairway woods, both from the tee box and from the fairway. As for the driver, I am hitting the ball farther and more cleanly (the 10.5 deg loft is a big improvement over my old driver, which was 8.5 deg). The bag and head covers feel very durable and there are plenty of pockets to carry everything you would ever need on the course. One thing I especially like about the bag is that there are several individual slots to put your clubs, which helps keep them from clanking... Read more

I went with the XL+ over the XL as it has a 5 wood and a sand wedge that most complete sets won't come with, and the styling on the clubs and the bag is a little nicer. The slots for the clubs on the bag aren't amazing, but the rest of it is surprisingly nice with a comfortable strap and lots of pocket space.

Eventually, I outgrew them, and soon college would come around.
Recently, now at 23, I wanted to get back into the 'swing' of things. I thought this set was affordable and nicely made. When it arrived, I was extremely impressed. The heads off all the clubs are absolutely beautiful and the grips are certainly better than any I've ever used. The driver's weight is very light and feels very natural when swinging.
I recently used them at a range and was also very impressed with them in play. I've hit every ball much straighter than I expected. I was hitting about 280 with the driver which is about 20 yards further I was hoping to hit. I was also very impresses with the hybrids. Until I searched online for clubs, I never knew something like a 'hybrid' existed, and now I can see why. They cover great distance and accuracy from the irons... Read more
