Great set for under 100 bucks, Check your kids' height though, June 7, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Nike TW Kid's Red Box Golf Set (Sports) Okay, so this is a previous year's model of junior clubs from Nike, probably from the days when Tiger Woods was considered a role model... I remember seeing this set at a Sports Authority about two years ago, and it was selling for 159.99 plus tax. My son started playing with a Ram set for 3-5 year olds, and he is now outgrowing those clubs. This set claims to be for 5-7 year olds under 50" in height. My son is 46" tall and five years old, so I figured it would be fine for at least a year and a half, but I don't think he'll be able to use this if he grows another couple of inches before then. The putter is 23" in length, and it is about 1/4" too short for him. If you are considering purchasing these clubs, have your kid stand in putting position and measure the bottom of his left wrist to the floor to make sure the clubs are long enough.The cheap Ram putter was 22.25" in length. The driver also seemed pretty short, but I'm guessing Nike did that intentionally to make it easier to make... Read more
Good product, February 27, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Nike TW Kid's Red Box Golf Set (Sports) I bought this for my 5 year old son, who's one inch short of being 4 feet tall. He's very strong and a little rough with his things. This is a great set and he's used it a few times already. Set still is holding up strong. He loves it. It only comes with 4 clubs, and he doesn't use the 2 golf balls it came with because he doesn't want to lose it. However, 4 clubs is enough, for he's too young to really know/understand/appreciate the different sized irons. I'll get him nicer sets as he gets older and his training becomes a little more serious. The bag has many compartments enough for him to hold many golf balls, his glove, and a lot of tees. Great package, great price, and all-together great product.
